Lazy Thumb (2006)

Featured in Yanko DesignStuff magazine (French) and more.

This Voice Activated concept cell phone is distinguishable from current mobile phones, because it is primarily voice-activated and has only three buttons with minimal function. OLED embedded sliding buttons display messages & information. The user operates the mobile phone by sliding the buttons up and down (a concept inspired by children's tile puzzle) to  send and receive calls and text messages. To send text messages, a Speech-to-text transcription system is used.
